3. The SN 2500 X 10000 parallel lathe

        The SN 2500 X 10000 parallel lathe is a large machine that can process pieces with a diameter of Φ 2500 and 10,000 mm length and it works in a high accuracy class. The machine can be effectively used for unique works, small series, for universal data processing in the plate, or between heads with longitudinal and transverse feed visualization.

        Pieces that can run on this lathe are those with large weights and dimensions, such as: rolling mill cylinders, turbine rotors, rollers, etc. The maximum weight of the piece caught between heads may be of 150,000 kg. The following machining is allowed:

• longitudinal turning with manual or mechanical feed;
• transverse turning with manual or mechanical feed;
• drilling with manual or mechanical feed;
• metric threading, Modul and Witworth.
